3rd Secular Order

The 3rd Secular Order of Kkottongnae Brothers and Sisters of Jesus

  • “If you welcome the poor in my name, I will take care of the rest.”(F.W. p )
  • While the Kkottongnae members and the religious of the Kkottongnae Brothers and Sisters of Jesus working together and living the faith realized through spiritual experience, there was a need for a secular 3rd Order to help the mission of the Kkottongnae through charity, service, and prayer. In addition, there have been many people who have contributed to the development of Kkottongnae by actively supporting it from the beginning.
Accordingly, at the request of Bishop Jeong Jin-seok, at that time, Bishop of Cheongju Diocese, on February 2, 1996, the Feast of Presentation of the Lord, the 3rd Secular Order of Kkottongnae Brothers and Sisters of Jesus was officially approved as a religious congregation affiliated with Cheongju Diocese.
The members of the 3rd Secular Order work together in prayer, charity, and service for each project promoted according to the spirituality of Kkottongnae while living in the world, and in particular, strive to nurture and raise the vocation in their homes for the sustainable development of Kkottongnae.
